We have been canning and freezing and dehydrating lots of food lately.

How would I log that type of food since I do not have a calorie list?

For awhile we were being very careful and measuring everything, but it takes long enough to can anyway without doing that.

I know its way healthier then having the convience of packaged foods, just curious on how to log it

I can alot too. If I don't have exact measurements I just pick on thats close. Calorie wise you should be able to find something pretty close in the database. The satisfaction for me comes in knowing I did it and I didn't add extra sodium or chemicals :)

This sounds really interesting... how do you can your own foods?

Why would you log differently than fresh cooked food? The measurement would need to be the portion you eat, not what was canned, wouldn't it?
