Cycling help!

Does anyone have a good cycling workout plan? I'm doing a 40 miler in a couple of weeks and I'm dedicating 4 days to cycling training (the other 2 will be Plyometrics for leg strength and yoga). Does a long endurance day and a HIIT day twice a week with plyo and yoga bookending them make sense?

If your 40 mile ride is just a ride and not a race, i would focus on several higher mileage days and just miles, HIIT would be OK but I would not make it your foucs unless you know the guys your riding with will turn it into a race or it includes hills and lots of climbing.0
