Good question. It combines cardio and strength training, but I have always considered it more strength training.0

Traditional pilates is totally strength training. If your workout is titled "cardio pilates" or is some other fusion type workout - then it may have a cardio impact. Crunch Super Slimdown is a fusion of pilates & power yoga - this has a cardio element. Other Ellen Barrett DVDs are fusion - some fuse dance & pilates.0

I wanted to make sure I was g balanced strength and not just doing cardio. Thanks for the advice yall!!0
