recipies for turnips and radishes?

My dad brought me home some and i have no idea what to cook with them. (Vegetarian please, and thank you) Thanks a bunch!

    Well not sure about radishes, but Turnips and Beets I bake them in the oven with two whole garlics and drizzle them all with Olive Oil and grind black pepper over them cover the baking dish and bake at 400 degrees for about an hour ( I think) just check to see how easy a fork goes into them and then the last couple of minutes I broil them on hight for a crispy texture. It is very good with the garlic sometimes I Barbeque them also. Hope that helped at little :smile:

    I usually just make puree out of turnips (mashed potato replacement)-- or slice them thin and bake for "chips"
    Lots of recipes if you just good "turnip recipes"

    I don't like radish so I've never looked...

    I saute the turnips with leeks and garlic in a little bit of Extra Virgin Olive Oil and serve it with grilled tofu and a salad:) Yummy!
