I didn't notice this but this week I lost 6lbs. This was my first week. I wasn't sure if the calorie intake changes or do you have to reset them?

You should reset your goals with every 10 pounds you lose.
Guidelines:
75lbs or more: Choose to lose 2lbs/week
40-75 pounds: Choose to lose 1.5lbs/week
25-40 pounds: Choose to lose 1lb/week
15-20 pounds: Choose either 1/2lb or 1lb
Less than 15/20 pounds: choose 1/2 lb/week0 -
I don't believe they change automatically. Just go into the goals and redo the "guided" area and your new weight will be there. It should adjust them for you. If by chance you're already at 1200 cals/day it will not go any lower than that in the "guided" area since it's not recommended to net less than that.0

See I tried this. But I wasn't able to loose any weight when I went down from 2 lbs to 1.5 lbs. Maybe after the next 10 lbs?0 -
On the app it will ask you if you want to update your goals due to significant weight loss. I believe this happens around 15 lbs- definitely more than 10. Or maybe its at a
Certain percentage.0 -
Every 10 pounds lost, I get a message that says I should change my goals, would I like to do so. I choose yes and it automatically updates for me. I started out with a goal of 1840 calories per day and now it is 1680 and I never changed a thing. I assume this is what you are talking about, though so if not, just ignore.0

MFP will warn you about calories needing to update as you lose weight. Unless you turn that option off. I think you can.0

Yes, matter of fact, I lost 30 calories a day today because I logged a loss. You have to go to home page and settings. Then select update diet/fitness profile and it will recalculate your calories for you. Even if you don't want it to. LOL0
