HRM and calories burned..?

I bought a HRM last night so today I tried it out using my wii fitness coach. At the end of the workout, it tells how many calories burned on the game (and says 95). But my HRM is saying 195!. I did 30 mins that started with cardio warm up, push ups, and then flexibility (pilates?). I did get a workout (out of breath, sweating) and I checked my HR a couple times during and it was at 60-65%.
I'm guessing the HRM is a better estimate of calories burned than the game? If so, then I've been burning A LOT more calories working out than what I originally thought!

thats right keep burning those calories
  • You are correct! The HRM is pretty much 100% accurate. Since I've gotten mine, I've learned that I've been burning less than I thought. Gotta step it up a notch (either that, or eat less)!! :noway:
