They don't really go away,:ohwell: but you can make them less noticable. My dermatologist told me to use Cerave cream. It's very good and keeps skin hydrated so they don't look so bad.0

Bio Oil. I had some from my 10 year old son that I always just left but when I got pregnant with my second one I was looking to prevent more from happening so I thought I'd try some out. Not only did it prevent but faded the 10 year old one's as well. And I was told since they were that old there was nothing I could do about them.0

Bio Oil has a good reputation but I can't vouch for it personally as I am lucky and dont have any stretchmarks. However my friend had a heart operation and she swears it really helped reduce the redness and thickness of her scar. :0)0

I dont have stretch marks, but I have some loose skin after losing the weight. I hope that it tightens up eventually... but as I'm 50, I have resigned to the fact that my body might be "falling" a bit.0

Unless you opt for surgery, you can't get rid of them. There are creams/lotions that help reduce the appearance of newer stretch marks, but old ones that have already faded are there to stay.0

how long did you use it?0 -
I am attempting to use cocoa butter to ease the appearance of mine. I know they won't go away, but if they could turn white rather than the purple color they are, that would be nice.
I used to have some stretch marks from puberty that you can't see anymore. I am hoping that the marks on my thighs will go the same route.0 -
I used to make a concoction of coconut oil, olive oil, vit e oil, and cocoa or shea butter. It took most of mine away.. but not completely.0

Lol well before I became a nurse, I worked at GNC and had tons of women coming in wanting to get things for stretch marks. And I gained tips from all of them and made my own little "potion"0 -
