To Eat Before or After Your Workout...

I was just wondering how many people eat before or after their workout. I usually workout before I eat but I am curious to know what you guys are doing and if you think it makes a difference. Thanks for sharing!

    In most of the research I have found, overall, it is best to eat after.

    Normally after but if you are taking lots of exercise or a long run then you do need something first too

    I spoke with an instructor at my gym who said it's best to each up to 200 calories of carbs about an hour before you work out and then eat protein afterwards. But mostly, it's about what your stomach can handle and how intense your workout is.

    I usually down some folgers(caffeine fix) before workout and protein shake and piece of fruit afterwards

    I eat a breakfast 45 minutes before I workout. then Im usually at the gym for 2 hours including drive time. Then I eat lunch about an hour after I get home.

    It goes both ways for me...if I'm hungry before I work out then I eat...otherwise I don't. I'm not one of those folks who get sick when I eat before I work out. It actually keeps me from puttering out during my workout.
