Next week is Canadian Thanksgiving and all I want is stuffin

I'm cooking a turkey on the Sunday and it's just me, my 16 year old, the boarder that rents a room and my niece and a co-worker. And anyone else I can find that has nowhere better to be. I always cook a bird and potatoes and gravy and make some pies and anyone that comes has to bring a side dish. There's always lots to go around.

But this year, I would rather save my white meat for lunches the rest of the week, and the salad too. I have been pretty darned good. All I want to see hit my plate is stuffing, gravy, pie and whipped topping followed by Several good highballs. Heck-I am not above putting vodka in the gravy and pouring it on the stuffing and eating my heart out.

Sad isn't it?

A big bowl of stuffing is my traditional day after Thanksgiving/Boxing day breakfast. Turkey is just like big chicken.

    I'm stoked for Thanksgiving!!

I get 2 dinners because my boyfriends parents are divorced and the each cook on different nights (we don't live anywhere near my parents sadly).

I am already planning my workout routine for the weekend so I can gorge myself on gravy and 'taters!

I was just telling a friend how I can't wait for it...only 6 more sleeps! Turkey, gravy, potatoes, cranberries, carrots, homemade buns, stuffing...oh, so much stuffing! And pie, to top it all of with pie! My mouth is watering already...only 6 more sleeps :D

I think I'll chow on some stuffing this week as a sign of support to my Canadian friends.

Consider it an olive branch -- burying the hatchet, if you will. Consider yourselves forgiven for Celine Dion.

But what about Bieber!? We can't forgive them for Biebs!

Why can't they make melba toast that tastes like stuffing?

It is just as much of a punishment to us. Trust me.

Good point. Plus, John Candy stocked up enough good karma with "Uncle Buck" alone to make up for three or four Biebers.

I'm so excited!! I have one on Sunday with my boyfriend's grandparents and then on Monday with my boyfriend's dad...yum, yum, yum!!!

I LOVE turkey with cranberry sauce! And lots of pumpkin pie with whipped cream! And stuffing with gravy!! Those are my favourite of them all. And this year I'm going to make a pumpkin cheesecake to take to the grandparents house on Sunday. Yum, yum, yum! And if I have time I'll be making some pumpkin donut bite things for Monday at dbf's dad's place. :)

I guess I should workout extra hard this week to make up for what will be a massive food overload on Sunday and Monday. :P

I really can't believe Bieber is a real Canadian. I mean he doesn't look tough enough to handle our beer....

I dunno. "Green Lantern" was poo. I'll only forgive him if he gets a good "Deadpool" under his belt.

I don't think she was referring to his acting finesse.

As far as I'm concerned, we're good.

Happy Thanksgiving to my neighbors to the north (once you pass though Idaho, that is)! I think that I will indeed do some practice stuffing eating in their honor.

I did not know Bieber was Canadian...lol

But Ryan Reynolds totally makes up for that. He's so drool-worthy. :P
