I want to make Tuna Fish but there's absolutely no way I can have it without mayo. What is the best kind of mayo to buy? (i.e. lowest calories, lowest fat)

My husband uses the Canola Mayo. It is made by Hellmann's. It has a yellow cap. It has very low saturated fat. My Husband swears he can't tell a difference. Do you put relish in your tuna fish? That might be where you could have a problem too. Good Luck!!0

i use mayo light it only has 16 calories per serving0

Yes! I will be buying relish as well. Tuna is too boring otherwise!0

There is fat free "mayonnaise-flavored spread" out there, but I find that it's not really all that mayo-flavored. It is, however, very low-cal and it does keep tuna salad (or chicken salad) wet. My girlfriend won't touch the stuff, but I like it well enough to use.0

I use Best Foods Light Mayo then add some red onion and pickles. I toast my bread sometimes too to change it up a bit since I am not much of a tuna fan. Added bonus is a slice or 2 of turkey bacon...YUM!!!0

Whoa whoa whoa, WHAT? :noway:
I use Duke's Light Mayo which is 50 cals in a tbsp.
What are you using that is 16 calories??? I NEED THIS!!!0 -
Ditto!
FYI just an idea if you dont like celery like me, my mom used to chop up apples reaaaaallllyyy small and put them in our tuna with tomato. ITS SO GOOD! It gives it a little kick and crunch and its much less than relish. (unless of course you just chop up a dill pickle and mix it in. Thats the other thing I do, and its about the same cal)
Just wanted to toss it out there when I saw "tuna"0 -

Eh, 35 is still better than 50.
I might have to try it and see if I can handle the taste.
I was born and raised on Duke's.0 -
yeh it has half the cals and fat of regular mayo
thats why i like it
and it tastes just liek regular mayo0 -
Dice up some fresh tomato too that helps it more moist.... that way you won't have to use as much mayo.0
