I just figured out how to use ours to get body fat! Are they pretty accurate?

No - at least not all of them. Mine will tell me I'm 27% fat one hour and 36% the next, even though my weight hasn't changed at all.
Also, mine seems to respond more to how damp my feet are than anything else. The drier my feet, the higher the % fat it tells me, and if my feet are perfectly dry, it just gives an error.
Calculating your BAI (http://www.intmath.com/functions-and-graphs/bmi-bai-comparison.php ) is an easier and possibly better way to get an estimate of your % fat.0 -

Mine has stopped working Guess it's time for a new scale.
When it did work, I used a couple of different body fat analyzers, and they were all pretty close (within 1%).
Nothing is going to give you an exact reading, but it can give you a general idea. Standing on the scale with damp feet is supposed to give you a more accurate reading (this is what the instruction manual for my scale says).0 -
Mine is within .2 percent at different times of day. If I weight one time right after another it says the same. If I weigh someone in between reading then weigh myself again, it reads my correct percentage. You should read reviews first to find a good one. I find mine reliable and with my weight loss it has been very consistent.0

I'm not really sure how accurate they are. I have one and it always seems to be going down along with the pounds so I guess that's a good thing. lol0
