I think I’m getting close to plunging down from the wagon, not certain why I’m writing this really
I know what I’m doing wrong but yet I’m still starting to fall again maybe a declaration of this to the 100’s of people on MFP will help set the guilt in , who knows

I’ve noticed my habits starting to slip a extra choccie here, a bit more soft drink there
The little voice in my head saying “ah you’ve already lost a bit why not take a few foodie days”

I have gone from exercising every night to not have had any real exercise in 2 weeks,, 1 week was because I was sick but now there’s no reason just that anxious feeling , I really feel like I have to start training myself all over again and it’s just so draining I want to go back to being a person free of the rules of food and calories

oh well hopefully I can hang on and pull myself up we shall see thanks for reading a little rant can help a bit sometimes

You know what you need to do-- so do it.

So, for TODAY, say no to the chocolate and the soda, and get off that butt that's hanging over the edge and go for a walk. At the end of the day you KNOW you'll feel better about yourself.

... I want to go back to being a person free of the rules of food and calories

Do you want to be free of rules for food and calories or be free from the weight that is dragging you down? You don't have to deprive yourself of anything, moderation is the key or an extra 1/2 hour on the treadmill if necessary. If you have a bad day, then it's done and over with and you keep going. Falling off the wagon doesn't mean you can't get back on.

something I read here during my first few weeks at mfp always helps me when i'm feeling like you(don't worry you're not the only one!):
"NOTHING TASTES AS GOOD AS BEING SLIM:)"
Good Luck, stay strong and spend some time outdoors--you might just need a little sunshine pick-me-up!

Sue is right. You can step off the wagon and give yourself a reward day (with some extra exercise) then climb back on. I am a complete chocoholic and have had difficulty with avoiding it. One thing I have done is eat Chocolate Protein bars. I get the chocolate with less fat and calories and with tons of proteins. As for the soda, we have been taking sparkling water and adding flavoring. We have something called MiO at the grocery stores here. It is expensive but not when you figure in how much you would spend on a soda. Lately I have been having a mango peach "soda" with 0 calories. If I need caffeine I use Green Tea with mint. Good luck with your quest. You always have the support of MFP to help you get back on the wagon.

I used to be a major chocoholic, but something I never thought would work really did... I gave up chocolate for lent(no joke, it was a big deal for me),two solid solid months --not so much as a chocolate chip. When Easter came, and the choco-ban was lifted, I found that I didn't want it as much as I used to. I still enjoy really really good chocolate(Dove dark chocolate) occasionally, but I don't crave it or even have any for weeks at a time...but Sweets Season is coming, let's just see...

Ah! The dreaded "poor me". We have all been its victims. The child in us wants to have it all. We resent the restrictions as we acknowledge the consequences. We've all been there--and if history is any guide, will land there again from time to time. But you can short circuit the slide. Do some positive self -talk. Think about your goals--about how good it feels to wear smaller clothes, to get compliments on your appearance, to see a smile on your doctor's face when he takes your blood pressure. Whatever will motivate you personally to hang on for a bit more. or to climb back on as the case may be. It is a life long battle but you are worth it! Its a mind game and you can win it! Good luck!!

Try what your mom probably did when you wouldn't eat your vegies.... no vegies, no goodies! Turn it around... no exercise, no chocolate or soda! If you want it, you gotta earn it.
