Just saying HI as instructed. I have been getting acquainted with this site and I love it. I feel like this is what I have been needing--a supportive place where I can log all my food, water and exercise for the day and not only know how it all adds up but to be accountable for every bite! Quick question: I am finding my 1500 calories are getting hard to fill--I started out with 1200 calories per day but then found out I had to eat my exercise calories. So I bumped it to 1500 but each day I am still running about 100-150 short. I don't want to just eat to eat, because I am trying to retrain myself to eat small portions and stop eating altogether after 6:30 pm. Any ideas? I don't think I want to eat nuts every day and I am already meeting my carbs/protein/fat requirements for the day, so I don't have any obvious need to fill.

You could have a light snack in the evening after dinner like an apple and some 1% milk. The fiber/calcium combo would be good for you even though you want to stop eating by 6:30. Studies have proven that calcium at night helps release fat stores, and apple is good fiber to push any leftover food through the intestine.

Thanks! That's interesting info--I'm all for releasing fat stores. I already eat an apple and a cup of skim milk during the day--I'll just move it to the evening.
