Ever since my daughter decided to wake up and play for 2 hours the other night (3AM until 5 AM) I've felt exhausted and I keep snacking. I tried going to sleep early last night, but I couldn't fall asleep so I'm trying again tonight. I still got my workouts in...it's a good thing after all the snacking but I just felt munchy and now that I'm thinking about it I think its because I'm tired. I keep snacking on whatever is easy, cheerios, graham crackers etc...stuff my daugher is eating. I swore off this stuff this week, but here i am munching. I went over my calories today and I'm sure I'm forgetting to log something in...oh yeah, the orange I had earlier. Ugh.

So can you all give me some ideas and motivation to get myself back on track tomorrow. I did get my water in so that's good.

Thanks gang!

I know it can be tough!! How about drinking water when you get the urge to snack and you know it is not hunger? Also try to meditate or do some push ups or ab work...that will get you mind off snacking and the urge will go away...try not to be around the kitchen and pantry. Go to your room or another area of the house away from the goodies. If the cookies you buy for your daughter are too tempting for you maybe don't purchase those so you they are not available when you have the urge to snack. Maybe prepare some healthier goodies, snacks to have when you need to snack. Your daughter is young and you control what she eats and what you keep around the house. Have her snack on healthier foods that are good for her and the rest of the family. I hope this helps. I hope you get some well deserved rest soon. :flowerforyou:

I realize this link won't solve all the problems but it is MOST interesting and I think just might shed some light on how eating and sleep deprivation go hand in hand.

Best to you on working out more sleep hours Hon:flowerforyou:
