DOES IT MATTER WHAT I DECIDE TO EAT OR DRINK AS LONG AS I STAY WITHIN MY CALORIES?

Well, yes, inasmuch as it matters for your health and well being. Whole, natural foods that contain nutrients, vitamins, enzymes, and fiber are going to be better received by your body. Processed foods contain extra ingredients like preservatives, artificial colours, and so on. Plus, whole foods will make you feel more full.

But start with what is comfortable for you. I don't much care for brown rice, but I am mixing it half and half with white, hoping that one day I and my family will be able to make the switch.

give it a try...eat 1800 calories of greasy McDonald french fries every day for a week...tell us how great you feel

come on.....it matters at least as much as you would think if not more...

    have fun

  • I DRINK A LOT OF BOOSTER JUICE. ONE SOMETIMES 2 A DAY! IT IS VERY HEALTHY FOR YOU BUT IT HAS ALMOST 400 CALERIES PER SERVING. IT IS ALL NATURAL FRUIT WITH NO ADDED SUGARS. IF I STAY WITHIN MY CALORIES DO YOU THINK I COULD STILL HAVE ONE A DAY?

  • I ACTUALLY DONT EAT FAST FOOD AT ALL NOR DO I EAT PROCESSED FOOD OF ANY KIND. I AM JUST TRYING TO FIGURE OUT IF BOOSTER JUICE IS ACTUALLY AS HEALTHY FOR YOU AS THEY CLAIM FOR IT TO BE.
  • I hear what you're saying on this and have had many "questions" myself. For example, is it better to eat a whole wheat slice of bread that is 130 calories per slice, but it more nutritional, or have the 65 calorie per slice bread that has no nutrition because it has less calories. Or drinking diet sodas because they have very few, if any, calories.

Do you use your drink as a meal substitute or in addition to your daily meals?

I'm sorry, I don't know what booster juice is, but if you can get enough food to feel satisfied within your calorie limit, and still drink this, you should be fine. If you do get hungry, take a stroll around the block or do workout to justify having the drink. You don't have to cut out all your favorites.

I have heard even tho the sugar is "natural" it is still sugar so it depends on your daily total sugar

I have heard mixed reviews on the accuracy of the calorie totals...like everything else...moderation

but if you like it and you feel good using it...why not..I would keep asking tho

    good luck

A calorie is a calorie is a calorie....meaning you can have 1500 calories of booster juice, or you can have 1500 calories of a varied diet and as far as weight gain or loss, in theroy its the same. Big but here,,,,1500 calories of a balanced diet from carbs/protein/fat will not only be healthier, but will give you more satiety, make you feel better and make you healthier. Thus the reason that things like juice fasts will make you lose weight, but it will probably come back. I will not give up taste for a lower calorie option, come on, why are we eating if we are just worried about calories and nutrition? Its got to be enjoyable too, so I try to make the things I enjoy healthfull. So I may chose the higher calorie more nutrient dense option at times becasue it tastes better, and the lower calorie less "good for you" option other times, ie chocolate cake.... Balance it all out and stay within your calorie range, some days it may be "healthy", other days not so much. I would have the booster juice if you enjoy it, just factor it in to you daily plan. OK...off my soapbox...can you tell this is a hotbutton for me:blushing:

Man you are a more Booster Juice addict than I was. I treat them as a treat now because they are high in carbs. How is your wight loss so far?
  • THANKS FOR THE ANSWERS I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO FIGURE OUT FOR AWHILE IF I SHOULD GIVE UP THE BOOSTER JUICE.
THE THING IS I USUALLY REPLACE THE DRINK WITH MY LUNCH. I LIKE TO HAVE THE BOOSTER JUICE FOR LUNCH BECAUSE IT FILLS ME UP AND IT HAS LIKE 5 SERVINGS OF FRUIT IN EACH SERVING.
I ALSO ALWAYS STAY IN MY CALORIES, SO I GUESS I SHOULD BE OK. FOR SOME REASON THOUGH I KEEP THINKING IT IS GOING TO MAKE ME GAIN WEIGHT. GUESS I WILL SOON FIND OUT![

Never had that one yet. I had the apples and cinnamon at Christmas. It was soooo good. That's the last one I've had. I'd like to own one of those places.
