Do you have low HDL?

If so have you fixed it with diet and exercise and how? I have normal (smack dab in the middle) triglycerides and LDL but my HDL is low (35). I was told to eat a low cholesterol diet ..which i already do for the most part with the the exception of my egg wrap in the morning. So I've bought brown rice, beans, soy milk, and 100% egg whites. Any other suggestions?
