(sorry didnt know where to post this..i figured you guys cook so i'd ask)

My mum-inlaw gave me a crockpot...the thing is, i am use to crockpots that have "keep warm" "low" and "high" settings.
the one she gave me has numbers, 1 through 5.

So, if my recipe calls to be cooked on "low" what number do i use? would 1 be "keep warm" and 2 "low"
or is 1 "low" ????? ahhhhhhhh!!!

Thanks in advance :0)

I have some pumpkin spice bread pudding in there right now @ 2.....

I'd guess that 1 is warm and 2-3 are low, 4-5 as high. You will probably have to test it out, just keep a close eye on it and check the food every 2 hrs or less.

I would guess it would be 1-low 2-medium low 3-medium 4-medium high 5-high. Not sure but that's how I would interpret it. Wish I could be more help!
  • i'd do like the previous poster said and google it. you can probably find the manual online. just google what brand it is and if you can find a model number. if it's like my oven it'd be 1-low, 2-med low, 3-med, 4-med high, 5-high. but just to be sure, i'd google it

thanks everyone...i tried googling the question before and didnt get an answer cause it never occurred to me to use the model...duh..:embarassed:

so it turns out 1 warm- for cookies, muffins, bread...etc...
2 is also warm- to keep cooked food warm
    3 is low
    4 is medium
    and 5 is high

thanks everyonw for your input :flowerforyou:
