Just made these. AMAZING!

I serve mine with a side of a few more tablespoons of buttermilk for dipping. YUM!

You can omit the yolk if you'd like to save 70 calories. Depending on the mix you use, it should come out to about 200 calories.

ive used orange soda in vanilla cake ( i've not done it in the mug before ) But when make the whole cake its just the cake mix and a can of whatever soda you like. and NOTHING ELSE!

I've done spice cake with half can of pumpkin puree and a cup of apple sauce. MOIST and delish!

    Rootbeer in chocolate cake mix

You can skip the egg entirely and just use the mix and a few ounces of diet soda. :)

I stopped making muffins because of the amount of oil involved. Can't believe you can use diet soda, excellent. Will be trying this one.
    Thanks.

Just wanted to say, made one of these last night with just egg whites and 1% milk..had a bite to behave, but let my mom try it also..PHENOM way to get it and I cut it in half so it's 2 servings of roughly 100 calories each. Very yum, thank you for sharing this! Oh, and I had to drop the cook time to 2 and a half min which gave it a spongecake/angelfood cake like texture. 2 min with the lowfat milk will prob do.
  • I am soooo going to give this a try! What a great way to get your sweet fix, but not have an entire pan of treats sitting around. Thank you for sharing.
