The same thing happened to me. But I dont want implants I want a lift. Would they have to instert anything to lift them or just cut excess skin? Im confused as to how that goes.

For a lift, there is nothing implanted. The skin is incised around the nipple and then the lower curve of the breast is incised from the bottom of the nipple to the crease at the base of the breast. Excess skin is removed from the bottom curve of the breast (the incision at this point looks like a "keyhole" shape) and then all the edges are sewn back together. You will not look bigger, actually you actually look a bit smaller after because everything is tightened up. Depending on how much droop ("ptosis") you have, they sometimes put in some internal stitching to help with the lift. Usually they make the nipples a little smaller, but not if you don't need it. The shape is nice afterward (assuming you had a good surgeon) but you will have a noticeable scar. The scar around the nipple tends to blend in, but the one going down the bottom curve of the breast is noticeable and there isn't much you can do about it. I wanted to answer your question here since I know the answer (I've working in operating rooms for the last 15 years, even though plastics wasn't my service), but since it is a little off topic, if you have questions, feel free to message me. I am sure you can look up some pics online as well.

Good on you for doing this for you :)
I have no experience with saline vs silicone, but sounds like these gummy bear ones will be the way to go :)
Looking forward to reading of your progress and pics of course :D
I am having a tummy tuck/lift once ive finished losing weight, ive lost over 30 kg since my second son was born, and have around 25 kg to go, so it won't be a little while before I get my surgery.
Also good on you for being open about it.

You really need to look into taking fat from one part of your body and using it instead of any kind of 'implants' http://www.lipostructure.com/breastaug.html << thats just one place that does it, google fat for breast augmentation to get more info. They might have to be redone in 10 yrs or so (I cant remember exactly) but as for how they 'feel' its totally natural, plus you dont have to worry about them rupturing or leaking.

Once I drop my weight I want to have a lift and that type of augmentation, depending on how small my breasts get. Right now I'm in a D cup and all the really cute/sexy bra's I see are C or smaller. I really want a lift more than any thing, 3 kids in 3 yrs and losing weight.......... well you get the idea lol
I don't think she has much fat to spare!!!!

Just don't get them too rounded on top to where they look like *balls* on your chest. I have a friend that has these balls on her chest and they look noting but fake (not sure what kind she has or where installed).

Another friend had hers done and they look so natural. I need to ask them what kind they have etc... Just say no to balls on chest! Ha Ha

I think that often comes from either a surgeon with no aesthetic taste or women who are convinced that looking like a porn star is somehow attractive.

I have seen only one implant job in my life that looked attractive--a friend of mine resisted the urge to "go big" - she just went from an A to a B, which was the only thing that fit her frame size. She also went under the muscle and was very careful about choosing her surgeon. They were about as "real" looking as implants can get (although that doesn't mean they truly looked "real").

Apparently some men such as yourself, dont understand or KNOW what its like to lose weight or lose fat and have your lady parts absolutely sucked in. GONE. VANISHED. To feel like less of a woman. No I have NO desire to look like a damn porn star. i just want my curves upstairs. Thankyou.

I was responding on the comment that I quoted, not to you personally. You stated up front that you wanted people to respect your decision and I did so. The comment that I responded to was focused on the quality of the surgical results, not the original decision to have the procedure. I wish you all the best.

    Okey Doke thankyou
  • Yes, before she had the lift, she was a 34A, after the lift she is is 34D, because they were lifted they looked so much fuller than before, when they became saggy because of the weight loss. I have seen the before and after pictures and in real life, the boobs look great. I am tempted to go for it myself, better start saving up.

I went from almost an A (I was smaller) to DDs and have saline implants. They look totally natural to the point people don't believe me when I tell them they are fake. I had them done 4years ago (3 years after I had my son). I went through the nipple and under the muscle. The recovery wasn't bad (other than I didn't do well with the pain meds). It's uncomfortable for the first few days but nothing too bad.

    Good luck!!!
