I was just having a look at the graph my weightloss makes under reports and there is definetly a trend to it. Very very little weight lost for several weeks and then a huge step down in the graph, usually 2 1/2 -3 1/2 lbs at a time. I have been logging everything for 95 days and this has happened about 4 times so far, it evens out to an average of 1lbs a week which is what i wanted.

Just wondered if others were experiencing this kind of jerky weight loss as i know most of the people i know seems to be loosing a steady 1-1.5lbs per week each week!

this is quite common actually, I've seen it in many clients, as well as my wife. It's perfectly normal to follow a large loss with no loss at all for a few weeks or even a slight gain.

Yes. I do that too. I'll lose less than 1 lb for weeks then I'll have a 2-4lb loss one week, then back to less than 1lb etc. I don't mind, as long as its creeping down I'm happy.

This is exactly how Iose weight...little to no weight loss for 2 to 3 weeks, sudden gain of 4-5 lbs (TOM), then a drop of 6-8 lbs. But it always averages out to 0.5 lb, which is my goal.

Hurrah so glad its not just me. And so long as the scales and the tape measure go down a bit each month that will do very nicely!
