Hi everyone, I decided on leaving out my name for personal/privacy reasons however much like everyone else here I am trying my best to lose some weight, get into shape, and aim to feel better about myself!
I noticed over the past month in particular I have been feeling very unattractive, and because my stress levels have gone through the roof thanks to uni and my new job I have been eating a lot more. I weighed in and found out I was about 10kg over my usual weight, which is about 20kg more than my absolute desire weight, which made me really disappointed in myself
My new job especially consists mainly of office work, which not only is an hours drive away but I have to sit at a computer all day! I also have the kind of lifestyle where I enjoy sitting at the computer at home a LOT.
So I guess with discovering this site and realising how helpful it can be for my motivation (the mobile app is fantastic!), as well as my boyfriend who (besides being as skinny as a stick) has been working out a lot more, I feel like I'm going to try this weight loss thing again.
This time I'm just going to try and improve my fitness and attempt to sustain it so I'm doing this regularly. My moods have been really erratic thanks to uni, so I guess getting fit is the solution to my mental health too.
However, I have a personality where I tend to binge out on a lot of things and go absolutely extreme for a couple of weeks (including exercise) but then get sick of it really quickly and stop it altogether.
The last time I was really motivated to get into shape was before my Year 12 ball, and I ended up screwing up my knee because I was running so much so suddenly!
But looking back at photos from my ball, I would just love to be that size again. My main goal is to drop 10 kilos no matter how long it takes, preferably for summer, but in the long run I would absolutely love to drop about 7-10 even more.
This has been a massive introduction, so I will stop now.
