Advice from Fellow 30DS peeps particularly L2+

Hello everyone in Forum-land.

I've recently started Level 2 of the 30 Day Shred (just completed day 2) and I've noticed that whenever I take a deep breath in, I get a really bad pain in my chest. :frown:

I'm hoping that it is due to the fact that Level 2 is very shoulders, chest and arm based (a lot of plank poses and pulling backwards with weights) and it's just an ache but I wondered whether anyone else has had the same experience.

    Are we talking sore muscle pain or pain in your ribs or heart pain??? Muscle soreness is to be expected, but if you are getting sharp pains you may have tweaked something. Form is super important so I tried to focus on execution during 30DS (well that and not writing hate mail to J. Michaels hehe).

    If you are experiencing pain in your bones, or your heart I would certainly consult your doctor.

    I'm guessing that it's juts sore muscle pain. It doesn't hurt all the time just when I breathe in deeply or sneeze etc. I'm sure it will ease in time! Thank you for the advice! I will certainly talk a closer look at my form during the workouts.

    Yep me too. First couple of days of Level 2 my chest hurt ALOT and I wasn't doing all the plank work properly and straining muscles I quite simply have NEVER used before!

    A few days in and it eased as I got the form right. Am doing the last day of Level 2 today and hoping that I can do Level 3 :-)
