Hi All
I have been aware of this site for a while, been using it for a day or two, and then not for a couple weeks. I am trying very hard to get into the frame of mind to tackle my extra weight. I know it is time to reclaim my life & my happiness....which means it is time to reclaim my motivation!
I'm a 31 year old mom of a almost 3 year old and an almost 10 month old. The past several years have been comsumed with being pregnant, having a baby, being pregnant ...and well that stage is almost done and while I am sad to bid good bye to this stage in my life, I would not be sad to leave the baby weight behind with the baby!
I am what I would consider quite active. I am at the park daily with the kids, go for walks with the stroller couple times a week, and attend the gym minimum 3 times a week for an hour of cardio and 1 time a week for pilates/yoga. I also occassionally throw in a home session of pilates for about 20 - 30 minutes. My problem is overeating and liking junk food. I find that I have no will power and even though I realy try to limit unhealthy foods in the house, I will just binge on something as silly as granola bars. I also struggle with knowing how many extra calories I should allow myself due to breast feeding.
I am looking forward to using the tracking tool on this site to attempt to stay accountable and hoping make some friendships that keep me motivated. Good luck to all of you in your journeys. I am considering today my first day!
