day off?

i've been working out every day since i've started to try to lose weight. Typically I do 30DS 5 days and a 25 minute run on the other two. obviously i've lost weight since i've gone from being sedentary to this, but here's my question: is it beneficial to my weight loss process to take one day off per week? i work out reasonably hard (i'd imagine at about a 7 rpe and break a decent sweat, i'm tired by the end of my workout) so i'm not sure if i'm working so hard that my body would need recovery time. i feel very slight amounts of soreness on a day-to-day basis, but on a scale of one to ten (ten being hol-crap-sore) i'm only going to give it a one.

i love the feeling of working out every day - i want to maximize my effort so i can have that body i've been dreaming about. that being said, i'd hate to find out that i'm doing harm to the process of toning my muscles by not giving them recovery time.

other info: i'm 5'3, 138 lbs. i've stayed at my target calorie count of 1200 without going over and i eat back 60% of my exercise calories to account for any error since i don't own a HRM. weight-loss has finally clicked for me and i'm itching to tweak my process and make it work for me even better!
