I'm sure not many want to hear/think about this . . . but winter and SNOW is coming soon to a region near you !!!!.
I live in NH and cannot wait for the snow to start falling and letting it build-up a decent base to ski on.
Does anybody know how much a day (6 hrs) of active downhill skiing will burn in calories? I usually go mid-week, so there are usually no lines or waiting between runs. I am an Intermediate to Advanced skier and tend to ski fast and agressive.
Thanks -

Skiing is a great exercise....especially for your legs. When I put in downhill skiing for 6 hours (at a moderate pace)..it says over 2,000 calories burned. I don't think it would be that much....but you could easily burn 1500 calories in that time..especially if you aren't spending a ton of time in lines and on lifts.0
