For those who have diabetes, you can lower your glucose levels naturally by choosing foods that have a LOWER GLYCEMIC INDEX:
e.g. STEEL CUT oats instead of regular or quick rolled oats (NEVER use: instant anything in any cereal). Do not cook this cereal in the microwave because it raises the glycemic index
e.g. QUINOA (pronounced: keen-wah). It comes in two forms, red or white. One serving is 1/4 level cup dry (uncooked). The red has double the fiber content than the white. It's super low sodium, high protein, high phosphorous, etc.
Keep your precious heart healthy by making healthier food/fluid choices. If you ever have questions, please feel free to add me to your friends list and send me a brief email message.
