weight discrepancy

im trying to log some baby potatoes, but im confused...the nutritional label says 80 cals per 5 potatoes or 110g...i just weighed 14 potatoes @ 124g....do i go by the number of potatoes or the grams? thanks

    the grams :) that would be more accurate i think....... thats what i do anyway.

    Yep, grams - use the information for 100grams and enter a quantity of 1.24.

    Weight is always more accurate when it comes to food portions.

    For things like produce it would be scary if every potato identical shape and size and was 22grams!

    Your 5 potatoes could be larger than my 5 potatoes. I've never seen a potato identical in size/shape/weight to it's brother. ;-)
