I am new to MFP and am specifically looking for motivation from women who have successfully gone from 20-30 lbs over your ideal weight to your ideal weight. This is the battle I have been facing for YEARS and am tired of it. But...I feel like I need to make significant changes to make a lasting change. I'm a 35 year old mother to one child, in addition to being a busy professor and partner to my amazing husband. I have little time, but need to make it count. New "friends" and suggestions are welcome-

Hey prof! I'm a 28 year old grad student and 15-20 lbs over my goal weight. I work 50-60 hrs a week and commute 2 hrs a day to school, there's just not enough time and motivation in a day :-/ Taking one day at a time and trying to make better choices become a habit is my focus, and hopefully the weight will come off in the process. The people on here are awesome and very supportive. If you need a buddy for support or accountability feel free to add my as a friend. Good luck!

Feel free to add me! I've lost a total of 75 lbs, 15lbs with MFP!

Welcome to the fun! Hope you reach your goal. :-)
