Belly question

Hi all
Just wondering if anyone is willing to share photos/experiences of their bellies after children and weight loss.
Ive lost over 30 kg since my second son was born, and I have a bad overhang (still lots of fat in it, ive got 25 + kg to lose), and my first son was born via c/s, so where the scar is my belly folds over. It is all getting loser and saggier, so am expecting it might just get smaller but never go away on its own. I do plan on a tummy tuck once my weight loss is finished.
How did your belly go over time after losing weight?

Hi! I have the same exact problem and I do plan on having a tummy tuck also. I do think it will get smaller but the hanging part is still going to be there.0

I have stretch marks! Big nasty, gnarly stretch marks! They stretch from about two inches above my belly button to about my mid thighs. I've had 4 kids and I love every one of my stretch marks.
I also have a 6 pack with NO surgery.
Boo ya!0 -
I have had one natural birth and one c-section and I have that fold as well. Mine is not too bad but it still makes my stomach look weird without clothes on. It is better, but not sure it will ever be the way it was before the surgery. I guess I am just holding on to the hope that it will flatten out a lot more! Best of luck to you!0

Awesome!!!! Congrats!! You rock!0 -
I've had 4 children and all c-sections. But the folding often happens to c-sections.0

I've had one traumatic C-section (daughter's ok, she's 6 now). HW: 352 lbs CW: 248 HWaist: 60+" CWaist: 44"
In the last month, I've been really surprised by the change in my C-section induced belly flap. Looks better than surgery! Here's what I did that worked:
1. Eat and live Paleo/Primal. Abs are made in the kitchen, not the gym! Bone broth, which can be made easily in the crockpot/slow-cooker can help with skin elasticity and a healthy youthful tone. I'm 44 and my tummy is shrinking at an awesome rate.
2. Vitamin D3 - 100,000 IU twice/week for over a year is what it took me to get enough for my labs to come out right. This vitamin works more like a hormone and profoundly affects body composition.
3. Lift Kettlebells. See Laura Brooks from ontheedgefitness.com and from YouTube, as well. Her DVD - Ultimate Body Sculpt & Conditioning with Kettlebells is available from her website and from Amazon.
4. Z-Health Performance changed my life, starting with repairing the damage done by years of being sedentary to my brain and to the rest of my body. It's great at repairing injuries, restoring mobility and re-educating the neural system.

thank you for the advice, just started paleo today, and ill look into those other things you mentioned too
thanks a lot.0 -
I have loads of stretchmarks and a little hang of lose skin . Some of the stretchmarks are really wide and go from above my belly button down to my thighs and round the back.
I'm not gonna let them deter me from my goal tho. I want a 6 pack under my wrinkly belly too
Don't worry about the overhang. Its part and parcel of having babies
Good luck on your paleo eating.0 -

Lizzie,
A Z-Health trainer can help you repair the injury you got while pregnant. The reason your physical therapist was insufficient is that they aren't up to date on the latest breakthroughs in rehabilitation of your condition. I am one of less than 400 trainers in the country who is certified in Z-Health, R-Phase. If you go to my profile, you can get the link to find a qualified trainer in your area. Remember if what you tried didn't work, that doesn't mean you (or your PT person) did something wrong, it just means that you haven't found your solution yet. Took me 3 1/2 years of neurologists, physical therapists and other assorted specialists telling me that they'd exhausted their knowledge base and didn't know how to help me walk again before I found Jen and Z-Health.
In 2009, I found my coach, Jen Waak of keyboardathletes.com, and I'm still training with her. I've dropped over 100 lbs, restored my lost mobility to the tune of walking/running 5K, hefting a 16 kg/35 lb Kettlebell several times per week, enough endurance and energy to keep up with my 6 year old daughter who is training for Triathlon and recovered my passion and joy in living.
That stubborn torn/separated muscle didn't heal because you didn't know how to heal it. It is however a simple scientific process and will transform not only your looks but your personal satisfaction with how you move and how you feel to put it back right.
Let me know if you find someone you like or need a little help. I'd be happy to facilitate your finding what you need to be your best!0 -

You look absolutely divine. I'm planning on losing about 120 lbs myself. I'm already down 18, and I'm not stopping till I get there!
