I started this yesterday, if anyone wants to do it with me feel free to join.
I'm gonna be vlogging about it later and i'll put the link in this thread so you can all see my face talking at you (fun times!), even though I only started yesterday I'm noticing myself be a lot more healthy about food choices than I was before, I kind of have the mentality that a calorie is a calorie and I wanted to do this and challenge that and see if I feel better/lose more weight when I'm eating mostly healthy foods bar the 1 1/3 cans of Monster I had yesterday (dw the taurine in it is synthetic, YAY!) and maybe the digestives although if I hadn't had those two I would of been well under my calorie goal.
I was going to have lentil soup but it was vile, i'm going to make my diary viewable to my mfp friends *gulp* I'm nervous about it, so if you want to nosey at it and offer me advice on what I should be eating through the 30 days please do.
I'm also going to try my best to avoid crisps, sweets, chocolate (even biscuits after this pack has been demolished, 35p at morrisons though :O and they taste fit to)
and fizzy drinks, even Monster :(. We have a blender up at my caravan in the lake district so when we go up there I'm going to bring it back down with us and then I'll be able to make lovely delicious smoothies which i'm quite looking forward to.

If it comes from an animal, it can't be eaten (so no meat, eggs, cheese, wine) depending on the strength of the ideology, this should extend to using animal products too so no leather belts, glue, red dye etc (we're pretty good at using animals, I was surprised what we make with them).

Friend me if you like, I'd be happy to keep half an eye on your diary and help where I can :-)

I don't think I could become a raw vegan as much as I think its great i'd go mad not being able to eat hot soups. I'm planning on making vegan pancakes at the weekend (English ones so crepes if you're American) I need to find a good recipe though for that.

I'm hoping doing this will help me make healthier choices and also eat a bit more than I was in August (I was slipping back into self destructive habits and that's never good)
I would rather eat 1200 + calories of healthy stuff than less than 800 calories of mostly crap and I want to nourish my body.
I'm not sure if I will continue it after the 30 days, I might do something like Jenna Marbles (she's vegan 6/7 days a week) because well she's hot as **** and it works for her so.
I'm not planning on throwing away leather stuff i own because I've already bought it but I don't plan on buying any this month either.

Nothing that comes from an Animal like 1a1a said
I found myself snacking on cheese a lot and drinking tons of milk like I will just happily glug it down and i want to wean myself off those foods.
Also even though I don't eat it much Haribo is now out of the question as is jelly and chewing gum I believe.

I forgot to add in my last post that I'm taking a multivitamin every day so my body gets some of the nutrients i may be missing out in my diet.

I'm keen to join you for the 30 days. I'll start tomorrow.
I am an almost vegetarian/ almost vegan anyway, which may sound a little odd, but basically I eat fish on occasion and love cheese so have that sometimes too. I drink soy milk, don't eat eggs or other dairy. I would be keen to see how I go on a strict vegan diet.

Will send a friend request if you're keen for that, I may have some meal ideas as I have been eating semi vegan for some time now. Also, other vegan/vegetarians feel free to add me as a friend, I love to swap food ideas etc

that's wicked, I used to be a vegetarian from the ages of 13-17 but I mostly lived off crap anyway. Not loads of it but what I was eating wasn't really nutritional in the slightest.

Today went alright I reckon, I need to work on drinking more water.
I'm like 21 calories over but i'm not going to bother about 21 calories, especially when I had 116 remaning yesterday so I figure they sort of balance each other out a little.
I'll probably make a video in a bit if my mum goes to bed, feel weird sat down here talking to the camera when she's here y'know.

Day one and I went well, my only crisis moment was planning to treat myself with ice cream and then realizing the shop which sells the non-dairy options was closed already. I nearly had a little meltdown but managed to avert it
