Anyone a fan? Any ideas what to do with one? Got one in my vegetable box this week; normally I would just chop it up and throw it in to a stew but not in a stew-y mood. Ideas gratefully received!

Try the BBC Food website and search on kohlrabi. It comes up with a few possibilities.
I've never tried it but remember seeing it in the shops in Germany when I was a student and wondering what it was!!!

Raw with dip is always a good way to go! Even without dip... it's pretty tasty raw.

Am I right in thinking it's a type of radish? Try making a crunchy coleslaw with Total yoghurt and some chaat seasoning - ooh-ooh-ooh, throw in some chicken breast and raisins and make it like a Coronation chicken sandwich filler for a Warburtons Squarish Wrap!!!

I want some kohlrabi to try NOW!
