My dietician works in a diabetic center and she firmly believes that eating low-carb (between 50 and 100 grams) is the best way for diabetics to control their blood sugar. She has many success stories of type 2 diabetics being able to get off insulin and control their blood sugar levels by eating low carb.
I am pre-diabetic and my doctor sent me to her for nutrition counseling and weigh loss support. She is constantly researching all the latest information and studies and I trust her judgement.0
