I rarely even use FB anymore. I post mostly about my kids there because the grandparents can see our shenanigans that way. Otherwise... its all MFP.... all the time....0

I sure hope I don't miss it!!! jejejej!!!0 -
I keep it because I keep in touch w/ friends and family whom I live far from- but I don't ever check my news feed. It's ridiculous and such a waste of time!!0
-
Facebook is good for one thing sharing holiday pictures!!! It does nothing but cause trouble for most people and Im soooo over people airing thier dirty laundry in public its just cringleworthy!!0

i closed it when i started this..i spent too much time on the games lol0

I am sick of it too. Hardly go on much anymore. I have not come to the point that I will close my account though. I have a lot of family on there and they post a lot of family pictures from time to time.0

Deactivated my acct on Monday. I'm a Twitter (Sweetlawyer16) and MFP gal! FB has far too much drama0
-
Think of closing my account daily, just haven't done it. Not really much there except a lot of hurt feelings.............0
-
I like it, a great way to stay in contact with my family who live far away and friends who I would otherwise have lost contact with. I don't like the live updates though, I don't want or need to know every single comment that every single one of my friends make. Still figuring how to switch that off.0

I permanently deleted it in January.I am totally over it. I don't care what people ate for dinner or how fake they are!0
-
I post my food porn pics on there....anyone thats friends with me just sees all posts about lunch and dinner and sees the pics. Nothing exciting.0

My bother-in-law and his gf do this. It was some good soap opera action.....0 -
lol tell me about it!!!0

I closed mine a week or so ago too. I realized I can be working out rather than wasting my time on FB.0

everyday i think about deleting it. but there are some long lost friends on there that i'd like to at least have a way to contact. i just log in like once a week. everytime i do: debbie downer.0

I love FB. I only have family and close friends. So many of my friends are starting families and have moved away do to the Military so it's such an easy avenue to keep in touch.
I don't have anyone on my list that posts things that annoy me...and if I don't agree I just ignore it or pass it.0 -
I'm one of the few that love it... I have re-connected with family members that I had lost contact with. I've also reconnected with a lot of my high school friends. When I lived in the US it was a good way to share my adventures with my family, now that I'm back in the UK its a good way to share my adventures with my friends0

I closed mine about a week ago. I miss "stalking" my friends and family and some of the connections on there, however it has been healthy for me. Too much drama and too much time spent on there. I want to connect more in the real world! Yet here I am on MFP. lol, but this is different cause I am actually gaining health benefits... not just wasting time0

I permanently deleted my account last week. Best.decision.EVER! People use it as an outlet for things that really should be kept private, and really there is so much drama. I'm over it.0
-
as another poster said way to many hurt feelings from it so i closed mine last week it stopped being a source of entertainment for me so i got rid of it now i just use twitter and MFP and i love it that way i dont know anyone on twitter so it still is just a way to have mindless entertainment0

Closed my account over a year ago, best decision ever!0

i love it. 762 friends and i never have drama (although i do have a dozen or so people that i can't delete 'hidden' so i never see their updates). when i had 2000+ 'friends', i had drama all the time so i deleted the majority of them. now it is just old high school acquaintances, family and current friends.0

How do you manage to have 762 friends? Do you simply invite everyone on sight?0 -
