I am a 24 year old newlywed that started My Fitness Pal exactly one week ago today. Let me just say I LOVE MFP. I have tried other diet websites in the past and I certainly did not enjoy those sites as much as I enjoy MFP. I was always told to eat somewhere around 1,200 calories and I have to manually enter nutrition info for nearly every single thing I ate because the sites had tiny food databases. Lets just say practically starving and having to spend 45 minutes a day entering what I ate led to giving up pretty quick.
I decided to give MFP a try when I saw it offered a database of over a million foods and I am so glad I did. I have not had to enter in anything manually one single time thus far and I can eat 1,650 calories per day. Now instead of dreading losing weight I actually enjoy it. And the best part is that in just 1 week I have lost 3 lbs!
