off out for a meal and help needed

i'm off out at the weekend with my friends to the indian and would love a few tips on what to have, or what to avoid.
any help or ideas

    Enjoy your weekend. Stick to lean proteins, which isn't hard with indian food, and just don't pig out on garlic naan. I'm fairly bland in my tastes for indian food and end up getting chicken tikka masala....and garlic naan to split.
  • I usually have paneer, its an indian soft cheese. Especially saag paneer.

    Or chicken tikka (not massala) and salad very nice :)
