I am on a plateau right now so I need to switch things up.
I switched some of my settings for my foods and now I am really going to watch my sugars but 24g of sugar a day really is not a lot.
What do I do about my fruits?
Does anyone have any suggestions? What do you do?
Thank You!

I am convinced that the old advice of 5 servings of fruit each day is outdated and not really a good thing. Read sugar busters or the South Beach diet for some good info. I try to avoid sugar which means limiting the fruit...also...what you eat with the fuit is important to avoid the sugar rush...don't feel like you need all that fruit but do some reading

I set small goals.
My sugar intake is 30 grams .. or is suppose to be 30 grams.
My first small goal is to get under 100 grams. <--- reached.
Now its to achieve that for a week and then I'll make another goal under 90 and so on and so on.
Sugar is rough because I am a big fruit eater0 -
Me too!!!
I love having a gala apple when I wake up before I workout but its 17g of sugar!!!
Maybe I"ll try and cut out fruit and see what happens.0 -

well,,,,maybe have half that apple before and the other half later in the day...no need to totally cut it out...cut it down maybe
good luck

I asked about this the other day and some long time mfpers helped me by explaining that natural sugars are different than processed sugars... I think the benefits of fruit outway the "downfalls" of their sugar content. One mfper said she excluded natural sugars from her count each day... I think you should research more and not just cut out fruits. Good luck.0
