Hello Everyone

Hi. I'm a 39 year old (Big 40 next month), single mother (11 year old son) who has just let herself pretty much go. For the last five years, I work, go home, watch t.v. or read and sit down with junk food and just enjoy myself. That's all led to me gaining 50 pounds (10 pounds a year). If I keep it up, in 10 more years, I could be 100 pounds heavier. Yikes!!! Already, my knees hurt, I've been getting bad acid reflux, and stay tired all the time. I'm tired of feeling crappy because I have all this extra weight. I'm deciding now to stick with my fitness pal and get back to the weight I feel good at.
I've been signed up to the site for a while and haven't done anything with it. My brother and sister-in-law have both lost over 50 pounds each by using my fitness pal, and I know I can do it to. I hope to get a lot of great tips and inspiration from everyone on the site.
