bedtime snacks

Just wondering what people are eating for snacks before bedtime if they do? I tend to have a slice of toast and peanut butter, or a bowl of cereal, is this okay or should I try something else?

My snacks vary, but lately it's an apple and peanut butter (or now that I've just discovered it, nutella) and some water to drink.0

that sounds like a great snack, as long as the bread is whole wheat and the cereal is low in sugar for late night snacks, i usually eat something fairly small, such as string cheese, an apple, a small serving of popcorn, a skinny cow candy bar, or a small cup of oatmeal with pb2.0

A friend told me to put some Activia in the freezer and have it when I want ice cream. It is pretty satisfying. Twice this week I had a mini kit kat...which wasn't too bad for my calories (I didn't go over), but I don't recommend that because it made me want more of them.0

Totally with you on the peanut butter sandwich!0

bts (bed time snacks) are as important as afternoon naps. keep it simple and what you like. apple and pb that is real comfort food for me. i have to measure my pb as it is VERY easy for me to get too much! animal crackers and milk are also very satisfying for me. i was diabetic with each of my pregnancies so this became a ritual for us, kinda of a family thing......

I like yogurt w/ fruit or jam, or a small piece of chocolate.0

I love the slice of toast w/PB too
I sometimes have Skinny Cow ice cream sandwiches, or Skinny Cow candies. And usually a glass of milk too.0 -
I go for PB on bread too, I stick to natural PB and whole wheat bread. Another thing that I really love is berries in fresh homemade whipped cream. Sometimes if I want something sinful I'll have a square or two of Lindts touch of sea salt chocolate. It satisfies the sweet and salty craving and isn't that bad for you calorie wise.0
