I have read that it is great to aim for a balance of 50% protein, 30% carbohydrates, and 20% fat when trying to lose weight through diet and exercise. Is there a way to track these percentages using myfitnesspal?

Yup! I just changed mine this week. Go under My Home, then Goals, then Change Goals, then select Custom and Continue, then you can enter the percent of each that you want. To track it you simply look at your daily food diary and under the Summary option it shows you how many of each you have consumed.0
