Still Not New, But Re-Introducing Myself

Hey all! Today marks my 90th consecutive day logging in, and while that by far does not designate me as "new", I thought I'd re-introduce myself. But since I'm running late this morning, this will have to be the Cliffs Notes version.
In June 2010 I decided to start taking steps to have LAP-BAND surgery. Earlier this year I had it done. I'm now close to losing 100 pounds since my journey began.
But I don't think I would have gotten that far without the help from this site. 90 days ago I joined, with intent of better-tracking my calorie consumption and calories burned through exercise. My goal when joining was to lose 94 pounds and I'm happy to say that, 3 months later, I'm over 1/3 of the way there.
So to all the people joining each day, I bid you welcome and know that you have a lot of support from the people from this site. It's a tool to help you achieve your weight loss goals. It's not a magic wand where you just log in and expect the pounds to drop off: It's going to take a commitment from you to change some bad habits and to start making new ones. One suggestion I would have would be to make MFP your home page (or one of them, if you have multiple tabs that open when you start your browser) to serve as a reminder to log in every day and to track what you eat and what you burn.
I know it says it in my signature, but I'll say it again here: Feel free to add me if you'd like, and again, welcome to the site!
