Winter Coats NSV!!!

NSV!!! Today I decided to try on my winter coats that I've had for several years. As I was putting them on I thought "they can't be that big". I am happy to say that I need to get new coats. I am swimming in them. Truly would look awful if I wore them. A leather one that was always snug on me was lapping over by about 6 inches that's at least 10 inches smaller. NSV!!!

It's these kind of victories that make me proud of the changes I've made in my life - can't wait to show hubby - He'll have to deal with SHOPPING. I used to HATE shopping but I really am getting the hang of it.

That is AWESOME! Im pretty sure my winter coat is too big but it was a little big when my husband bought it. MAYBE he will get me one??? Hope yours is nicer than mine lol

I hear ya..I went and tried some winter coats on..the one I have is an XL.....and the mediums fit!. I have decided that I am going to wait till next winter to get a new coat..because I would rather spend the money on clothes..

I was given a nice winter vest 2 years ago that would not come close to zipping. I tried to pull the vest closed up by my boobs to see how tight it was, it was about 4 inches away from closing there!. A few weeks ago I was in the basement doing laundry and decided to try the vest on and if it didn't fit I was going to donate it. It fits! I wore it today.

Me, too!! My mom bought me a pea coat for christmas and I put it on and look like Cookie Monster from Sesame Street -- it's THAT big!! Congrats!! I can't wait to fit into the "Misses" clothes and not "women's or 1x".

Two years back, an XL North Face jacket was a tough fit! Today, I was at the store and they had some there. So I decided to try on a Large. It fit perfectly!
