I my right knee is inflammed pretty bad. My doctor told me not to walk as an exercise. I walk 70 minutes all the time. Since I am not allowed to walk he told me to do some Strenghth Training. How should I log this or Should I log it? I go back to the doctor Monday morning to see what he says. Thanks.

If you want the calories to be counted you have to log it a cardio.

under cardio search for strength training...

I also have a bad knee, I found if I walk it hurts, if I do the elliptical it does not as it's lighter on the knees. Try it! trust me the more weight that comes off the better it will feel.

Oh sorry to hear that, hope your knee gets better soon.

I do strength training and log it as cardio. I use a HRM though to get cals burned.

Would swimming be a plausible exercise?

Thank you all. I would swim but the only indoor pool you have to pay to use.
