I've just recently joined a Virgin gym and been trying out different classes. I've booked onto body conditioning tomorrow and just wondered what i should log it as on MFP. It's an hour long class and never done it before so don't really know what to expect.

Thanks :-)

I've always logged it as Aerobics Low Impact - there are weights, lots of abs & leg stuff but u don't sweat as much as u would in normal aerobics or pump xx

would that go for resistant bands too? I am posting them as pilates but its far more intense.

yes, this. or maybe general circuit training. ask the instructor "hey, i keep a fitness log. would you say this is X or is it X?"
  • Cheers :-) I'll see how i get on tomorrow and will ask the instructor about the level of intensity. Spinning on MFP gives a way lower calorie burn than the classes i've been to. They work you hard and I'm sweating my head off by the time i finish so ii've been logging it as stationary bike vigorous effort which i think is more accurate. I think it's a bit hard with these classes sometimes cos some people will push harder than others i guess.
