Hi,
I'm finally at my goal weight of 50kgs, everything looks great except form my stomach! I thought 50kgs would be the prefect weight for my height but my body doesn't seem to be agreeing.
My stomach looks bloated and like a pooch, it hasn't really gone down since I started as I only had 3.8kgs to lose.
Any ideas on what I can do?

I have the same problem. I have been doing tons of core training to tighten up. its hard work but its getting better. Medicine balls are very good to work with.0

Thanks I'll have to give this a try - it's so frustrating!0

I know it is. It can be done though. Just keep working on it. Good luck.0

Work on Toning with crunches.0

Continue with core training, continue with your calorie deficit. And within time you will reach your goal. The thing with our bodies, is once it's reached a certain point where it's lost a lot of weight. Our bodies will slow down almost till it hits a plateau. But as long as you maintain your nutrition/exercise, then you WILL see further weight/fat loss. Also monitor your sodium intake, as that will affect the amount of water your body holds.0

Thanks for the advise, will definitely be watching that sodium - don't think mines been to bad
Some tonning exercises it is but will definitely continue on MFP!0 -
Strength training and a clean diet will def. help. What types of workouts are you currently doing?0

I've just been doing running, walking, biking, rowing and the step machine not sure what it's called I have a gym in my apartment block.0

This is kind of TMI, but are you regular with your #2? I hadn't been regular for a while, then after going three times within 24 hours, my stomach was visibly flatter. :blushing:0

While I was lossing weight I pretty much just did cardio. I added strength training and that made a huge difference! Even though I was at my goal weight, I could see big difference with the change in exercise routine. JM's 30DS might be a good place to start. Best of luck0 -

Frequency is not much of the concern, it's the consistency, color, etc. of the stool/bowel. If a person consumes a lot of food through out the day, they may have more frequent bowel movement, 2+ a day. Compared to someone who eats much less and only has 1 or 2 a day. So that alone is just contributed to the amount of food someone eats.
But say if the person who has lesser bowel movement has a consistency like diarrhea, etc. while the other person has more bowel movement but has a solid consistency. That's what determines how regular a person is with bowel movement, and overall health which also affects a person weight loss, etc.0
