What causes side cramps? I get them sometimes during my workout, but they eventually go away in the middle of it. I'm curious what causes them in the first place.....anyone know? TIA

I used to get them from not breathing right. My teachers in gym taught us to breathe in the nose (deep) and out the mouth... Eventually your body won't get that though as it adjusts better. I don't get it when I am exercising anymore.0

definitely breathing deeply and fully exhaling helps. I also get them if I've eaten too soon before exercise.0
