Thinking about getting a pair of dance sneakers for Zumba. Searching the web gives me lots of options. I'm thinking about a pair of Bloch or Sansha. The Sansha i saw were less expensive than the Nike. Can anyone let me know if they have Bloch or Sansha and whether you like them? They seem a little less expensive than the Nike's.

Thanks! ~ Ali

Absolutely love the bloch ones. Mega cheap too if you buy on amazon. I have a slightly wider foot and the bloch were still accomodating

Zumba can be a very high impact and intense workout.

Buy whichever shoes fit correctly and give your feet the correct support they need.

I bought Capezio shoes... man, they REALLY helped. I went from not being able to do zumba at all because it hurt my knees too much, to being able to do it for two hours at a time without much discomfort at all. They cost about $54, if I remember, but if you do zumba frequently, I think it's worth the investment. That's the kind my teacher wore, too.

I like Puma's. I teach Zumba twice a week and I think as long as you are using a shoe that has very little traction you will be alright. I do like the Nike's...I have a pair...they are nice but I decided I am a Puma girl

Thanks everytone! I just bought a pair of Bloch at the dancewear store and think I'm going to love them! I tried on the capezio and did think they had the support I needed and the Nike's just didn't do anything for me! If I stick with Zumba (and I know I will) I'll check out the Puma's. I saw some yesterday, but didn't kow enough about what i was looking for to know what I needed. I'm really excited about Zumba, it sure beats the heck out of cardio kickboxing, which I did religiously before moving to Dallas 4 years ago and gaining weight! Can't wait to see the physical results from the physical workout.

Everyone here is an inspiration! You all give me encouragement, just by being here. Have a great weekend everyone! :flowerforyou:
