Hello Ladies!!
Welcome to our second week of flying around the world! We had a great start last week, and I am looking forward to seeing how far we can make it this week.
Last week we started in New York, flew to England, France and are now on the “heel” of Italy! Great job ladies :smile: …we made it through 4 markers and then some! You are doing a great job! Let’s see if we can make it to Maharasat (placemark 7) this week! OOOOO I’m so excited :happy:

I just wanted to remind you of a couple of things (and especially for our new members)

1. Look for my message each Saturday, but save the link because I will be posting mini challenges throughout the week
2. Please respond/interact on the message board…it is nice when we are all supporting each other
3. PM me EACH DAY with your calories burned. I will then report to Lee, who will move us on the map to where ever we get to that day. (I will probably change this to reporting 2x a week)

If you do not PM me, I WILL look up your calories, but it takes me extra time, so I would very much appreciate you messaging me each day so I can just write down your number. Thanks for everyone who has been messaging me daily, I sure appreciate it :flowerforyou:

    The mini challenge that you had .. burning 200 calories more than you did last week - is going successfully. I took a day off last week and do not plan to at all this week. I have also been trying to burn 200 more calories than my lowest burn day (800), but some days that is just too much. If you average it out, though, I definitely will have done it! HAhaha :D

    How is everyone else doing? I would love to interact more. Post what you did for exercise or troubles or whatever!

    I just fit into a size medium dress for a wedding and let me tell you it feels SO GREAT. All I want to do is go to the gym now- seeing results (besides measly numbers on a scale) feels soooooooooo great. Makes every trouble worth it.

    Hey Cassie! Great job! While I fully intended to take my own challenge this last week, it was a really rough week for me so I was unable to. I have a number of health issues that get in the way from time to time and this week was one of those times. I will probably try to do it this week as well as the new challenge....(rubs hands in anticipation)....fun stuff:) I am also planning on going to a spinning class for the first time on Monday! Excited for that too

    Ok, are you ready for this weeks’ first mini challenge? Here we go…look at your food diary over the past week to see how much water you drink each day (you thought it was going to be another exercise challenge, didn’t you :laugh: ), if you drink 0-5 glasses a day on average, increase your water intake by TWO glasses, if you drink more than 5 glasses of water a day, increase your water intake by AT LEAST one glass a day. I’m telling you it will make a big difference! You are all doing a great job so far…keep up the good work! :happy:

    I like this challenge...except for the fact that I don't keep track of water. All I drink is water- I dislike soda and coffee mostly. Silk is the only other thing but that is in cereal or oatmeal. So I probably drink 12+ glasses of water a day already. I think I would turn into a fish if I forced more!!

    Ok, then you can do it for veggies, if you eat 0-2 veggies a day add two, if you eat 3 or more, add 1

    Well Ladies, are you ready for another mini challenge? Here you go!!! Look at your workout schedule, notice that there are some things you do repeatedly to get your workout in. What I challenge you to do is to find something completely different to try this week! So, if you regularly do say....ZUMBA!! but don't really use workout machines, then find a way to use machines. Conversely, if you use machines a lot, but don't usually go to a class, then go to a class. Or maybe you don't just walk, or swim or...anything that you can think of that you wouldn't normally do.
    I'd be really interested in hearing what you come up with :happy:

    I wanted to update you on where we are on the map (though you can check yourself with the link that is in my original post of this thread) but Lee hasn't updated us recently, so we are still where we were...though WE know we are farther :wink:

    This challenge makes me wish I had a heart rate monitor! I use machines just because I have a better idea of what I am burning.
