I'm not sure about those exact pills but I used to take epherdrine weight loss pills and lost loads of weight but as soon as I stopped taking them I piled the weight back on and an extra stone in a very short space of time.0

You wont find a lot of support here for weight loss drugs.
And you cant lose in one place. Only overall. Are you doing a combo of weights and cardio? That and maintaining your calorie deficit.0 -
I don't think there's anything wrong with adding a fat burner if you are working out and eating right but not all of them work the same. Most help release water weight, so make sure you drink lots of water and keep up on an exercise routine after you hit your goal to prevent the weight from coming back.0

I figured why not to help me drop water weight along with some more help with burning calories. I never tried what you mentioned but am currently using Hydroxycut Hardcore Pro Series and have so far seen some aid/improvement however I have been reading many positive views on USPlabs OxyELITE Pro (more than HH) You may want to check out places like bodybuilding.com for a more friendly/hardcore atmosphere for this stuff.0

There are no pills for rapid weight loss... all are a scam and some are dangerous. In the 80s, someone marketed a pill that had a tapeworm inside and killed a few people... some people will do anything to make a quick buck. Best way is to eat a BALANCED diet and exercise. Health is for life, even if there was a magic pill, you would end up gaining it all back and more when you didn't take it.0

My personal advice would be to not take them. Try mixing up your diet or exercise routine instead. I'm not saying ALL pills, but many of those pills have nasty side effects to them.0

Seriously? A tapeworm in them? That is terrible........0 -

I tried a pill once and ended up in the hospital because my heart felt like it was beating it's way out of my chest. Very scary moment. Ephedrine or not why take the risk.0

Absolutely not. Messin' around with stimulants can get nasty. Personally, I've tried everything under the sun at one time or another, but weight loss pills made my heart race, made me sweat, made my laid-back personality suddenly get all twitchy & b!tchy. No way would I ever do that again.
You might try adjusting your nutrient ratios. Decrease your carb intake, so your body will be forced to burn fat for fuel instead. Replace those carb calories with protein calories, because the chemical process in your body that burns fat also requires protein. Many people have found that even slight adjustments to their ratios can be very helpful in getting past a plateau or losing those last few pounds. And, this sounds odd, but make sure you eat enough fat! Your body needs a certain amount of fat to keep your cells healthy. 25-30% minimum. If you're not eating enough fat, that will make your body want to conserve it.0 -

Diet pills are bad bad news.
My friend is a jockey. He took them to lose weight for a horse race once. It was supposed to be all natural. He didn't sleep for two days and when he stopped taking them he was walking around like a zombie because he was so tired. Stay away from them unless your doctor prescribes them.0 -

First, congrats on your weight loss so far! Good job!
To be honest with you, your nutrition is jacked, buddy. Ditch the meal replacement shakes and protein bars for real food. Keep it to lean meats, fresh veggies and some fruit, with a reasonable amount of healthy carbs (quinoa, brown rice, etc.), and the belly fat will come off over time. Please eat a nutritious breakfast of real food - eggs, bacon if you like, oatmeal, yogurt.
Best of luck!0 -
My doctor says all those pills are bad for the heart, but of course I had to try them anyway.... they made my heart feel like it was pounding out of my chest. No good for me. Here is the advice I have heard - to lose that last bit of flab, you have to get leaner, ie reduce body fat, while still maintaining your muscle. To do that, you have to do aerobics 5-6 times a week, which will burn both fat and muscle, so you also have to continue with the weight lifting to keep your muscle. Also, cut out sugars and crap food, eat good sources of lean protein, carbs (brown rice, sweet potatoes; not bread and pasta), some green vegetables and just a little bit of fat at each meal - about 1 tsp or so. Rev your metabolism by eating every 3 hours. And, voila! it's supposed to work. Hope that helps.0

It is your choice but you should really be under the care of a doctor before taking any pills - prescription or over the counter.0

Especially if they keep it real!
