I need some suggestions for good quality, inexpensive software for counting calories and keeping track of weight loss without the internet.
I appreciate the help.

Perfect Diet Tracker is not free, but not expensive either. You can track food calories as well as exercise.0

Years ago I used something called FitDay. At the time, I think it was like a one time $20 registration, but it's been a long time. I really liked the way it was laid out though, very detailed.0

Cheapest is a calorie counting book and a notepad. That's how they did it before the Internet :-)0

I'll have to agree with tross. There are a large number of calorie counting books out there. Make sure you get one that has restaurants that are available to you as well as a good variety of foods.
Good luck!
