When did I become such an internal whiner?

Woke up this morning with a headache - groan...the inside voice complains "ohhh my joints ache", "ughhh my head aches", "I just have no energy to move wahhhhh". To this, I tell that internal voice ~ you know what helps that joints pain? try moving....you know what helps that headache? blood flow (and coffee)!...you know how to create energy? exercise! So to that internal voice ~ shut your whining and get off your *kitten* because noone else is gonna do it for you! I think I'll go for a walk...have a great weekend

I hate when that happens! The joint pain thing, tho... BOY, can I relate! Some days I just have to load up on the painkillers and wait for them to kick in. Not fun, but once I get moving, things ease up. When it's warm, I have to take Excedrin before I go out or I get horrible heat headaches if I get overheated. I've always been like that.

Congrats on persevering! Hope it helped you feel better. But about the whining - I think there's a lobe in our brain that wakes up when we're 40 or so and forces us to complain bitterly. It only gets worse!

    Cheers,

Feel much better! Started raining so the walk was out (and partially explains the joint pain), but I would not be deterred! 2 aspirin, cup of coffee, 15 minutes of yoga and 10 minutes of step'in and I'm a new person! Think I'll go clean the bathroom :noway: (looks around - who said that?)
